This is a 1963 gibson Falcon GA-19. When this amp came to me it sounded horrible. The speaker was blown and there was a lot of noise coming from the amp.

I replaced the speaker and changed the filter capacitor. This got rid of the noise but the amp wasn't really putting out the sound I new it could so I changed all the tubes with replacements from Groove Tubes.

Whenever tubes are changed it's important to bias the new tubes. I do this with the bias probe (pic1) (pic2) I got from Amp-Head.com and my multimeter (pic). It sounds great now.
